The Ma°alahi collection includes bag charms, scrunchies, jewelry, hairbands, silk scarves, and silk shawls. Jennifer Laible designs them in her studio in Moers near Düsseldorf and has them made in China from high-quality 100 percent silk. "I think silk is a particularly noble, natural animal fiber, known for its shine and high tensile strength. It is traditionally obtained from the cocoons of silkworms, the larvae of the silkworms native to China. Therefore, it was clear to me from the start that I would have my products manufactured in the country of silk's origin." This unique combination of German design and traditional Chinese craftsmanship makes the collection special and sets it apart from others.
As an additional service from MA°ALAHI and upon request, the owner also designs exclusive collections for larger companies or organizations.

MA°ALAHI ist hawaiianisch und bedeutet „einfach“. Diese Einfachheit ist es, die mich als Designerin begeistert – Produkte zu kreieren, die überwältigend schön, aber dennoch unkompliziert und durchdacht sind.
Meine Inspiration ziehe ich aus der Vielfalt des Lebens, der tiefen Kultur und der atemberaubenden Schönheit Hawaiis. Die Sprache, die Natur und die Bedeutung, die in jedem Detail steckt, faszinieren mich und füllen meine Marke mit Kreativität und Leben. MA°ALAHI ist für mich nicht nur ein Label, sondern ein Lebensgefühl, das unseren Alltag bunter, leichter und schöner macht.
